The Vietnam Women’s Memorial

The BPOE, IEA, and all Subordinate Lodges are not gender specific within any of their activities or leadership. The link below to The Vietnam Women's Memorial serves to bring light to the fact that not only were men and their families affected by this conflict, but also women and their families too. Sometimes we need to be reminded that the act of defending our freedoms and the American way of life is not gender specific, nor has it ever been.

The Vietnam Women’s Memorial was established not only to honor those women who served, but also for the families who lost loved ones in the war, so they would know about the women who provided comfort, care, and a human touch for those who were suffering and dying. The Vietnam Women’s Memorial was dedicated in 1993 as part of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
