A North District Thanksgiving - 2010
A wonderful effort started by the Schaumburg-Elk Grove Lodge has continued for many years. Upon the merge with Elmhurst Lodge, this tradition of hosting Veterans from Hines Hospital for Thanksgiving Dinner and an afternoon of fun continues to bring great delight to our Veterans and their families, Elks, their families, and friends. This effort has evolved to include Elks from every Lodge in the North District being represented almost every year. These special volunteers give up their Thanksgiving for the sake of making it a special day for our Veterans.
